This was interesting. I skipped around a bit – the dialogue around the 25 min. mark about the split between science and spiritual as valid sources of information and thought experiments/proofs is very similar to an Eastern recollection and discussion of the subject I’m presently reading.

I’m starting to think all of us, Christian or not, may need to read a book like that. I read Solzhenitsyn’s A Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, but that was decades ago–back when it was more of a warning than a forecast.

No backdoors and a security feature to reduce spying? I say reduce as opposed to eliminate since I don’t think that’s possible but then, maybe they have found a way. Who knows?

I never saw this film till last night..It’s a time capsule forsure. The similarities are rather astounding . I think many of us can sympathize with the guy trying to get friends to “put on the damn glasses”!! Thanks for the background story. Amazing. -
