Well, I certainly understand the sentiment expressed there. My concern is that when we filter the truth, we are vulnerable to control. There are two kinds of people in the world, those that want to know, and those that want to believe.
I am the former.-
I want to know everything – mostly. There are some things, the very dark things, that I prefer not to think about.

I used to think the same way, and would go and investigate as much as possible. Then one day I realised that finding out about one dark thing led to the next dark thing and on it went. Yes, that awareness you have, BlueWren, is really important because it allows you to observe and learn without investing in that which you observe. It’s an important ability.
