Well folks, again I seem to be under attack, with no help in sight. I am UNABLE to launch the Google Hangouts application, to record News and Views, and I have company coming tomorrow, and vidchat Friday, and I may NOT be able to do the vidchat if I cannot get the Google hangout app to launch. I will try to keep people posted.

I meant no malice toward the great pianist. He came to mind via an old billboard photo from a memorial service of a dear friend…bad choice.
Perhaps Sinatra would have been more appropriate given the “mob” association.LV…the last venue for aging washed up performers.

I’m not sure what you mean, but apparently other people are complaining of the same problem as I am having, although it does not appear to be by region

Perhaps I should have said shadow banned.
Not regional, personal…what I meant by targeted.
I don’t use Farcebook, but many are being jailed.
Comms are being disrupted…simplex. Folks aren’t receiving calls. Disruption.
GDS was disrupted right after Firefox add-ons were disabled…allegedly due to an expiring certificate.

I’m not sure what everyone is talking about on this thread, but I have had problems for the past two days seeing my Facebook wall in list view… it simply shows absolutely nothing, and I cannot see anyone’s comments either. I’ve tried everything… and the real; kicker is, I can see everyone ELSE’s walls in list view, just not MINE…

So you did, sir (06Aug18!)! It’s a development which fits well with owning our human culture, as opposed to digital transhuman culture. I don’t know whether it’s a thing in the US; but you’re probably aware that the UK is dotted with standard- and narrow-gauge steam railways, now run as tourist attractions (usually by enthusiasts). Like most of you, I am without adequate words to describe the fire at Notre Dame, or my emotions about it, or anything else… a very sad day.

Today, a piece of human culture was lost. The art, history, manuscripts, artifacts, the building itself and more, all lost in flames.

Where is customer service when you need it??
It’s not around (understandable given the hour) and with recent updates on YouTube’s creator studio I’m at a complete loss. But it DOES seem that every time I try to do something in the last few weeks, something pops loose and I cannot get it fixed.
The past 2 wks I was having a lot of trouble with operating system and Firefox . . . I did have some malware, you might want to check for that.
Thanks… I have reasonably good protection and usually run scans once a week. I don’t know what the problem is… it was working fine recently and today… poof.
