Joseph P. Farrell

  • Well Whew! The second chapter is in the can folks, after two days of nearly non-stop writing. I’m hoping this one will go quickly, but nonetheless be something that makes people think.

Thanks Margaret… needs some prayers on this one… it’s a very difficult book to write.

  • Folks, a request please: please continue to EMAIL links you want to bring to my attention… bringing them to my attention in IMs means half the time I won’t see them for awhile, and it also adds extra work in case I want to save the link for possible blogging.

That said, chapter one of the new book is done! One down, X to go!!!

  • …and after a day of reading, writing, and Claude Bolling, time to get ready for some company.

  • Doing some reading and writing while listening to Claude Bolling…

  • I just finished reading my friend Walter Bosley’s Origins about the 19th century origins of the 20th century Breakaway Civ group…. wow! What a read and some wonderful dot-connecting, and our own website’s Liquid 911 is mentioned!

I’ll bet that was fun! I like to feed french fries to the squirrels here in a park where I live… they will come up and take them out of your hand

    • Hi dr j.
It’s good to smell the roses they say.
Squirrels are great fun. I spent some time in Vancouver and hung out in Stanley park a lot feeding the funny little rodents.

  • The day’s almost half over, and due to circumstances, haven’t even BEGUN what I scheduled to do today… sigh… But, it HAS to be done this week, so must start today, like it or not…

I’ve always thought there is. If there were not some counter-balancing force or group, things would be much worse than they are.

    • i think there is too and I’m optimistic going into this year that they may show their hand more and more.
I expect to see some big outcomes regards international pedophile rings. It makes sense that if your the good guys you save the kids first. We’ve seen world wide commissions and proceedings bringing to light the depth of the crisis and now…[Read more]

Interesting thought. I have never assumed war is innate to human nature but came along at some later point.

    • I’m just fishing.
I know you don’t assume as much, I read your stuff.
often come across the assumption though that warfare is somehow genetic and all part of the Darwinian folly. Survival of the fittest and all that voodoo.
I’m not to proud to admit that in my own less enlightened past I had made this assumption.
Now it’s obvious to me that…[Read more]

Ouspensky… now there’s a name I have not heard in a very long time!

    • Came across him whilst magpying gurdjieff. His description of man as machine is abrasive to my 21st century mind but tweaked to man as vehicle becomes palatable.

      • Here’s part of his response to the question, what is being?
It struck a chord in me.

When I met this system, it showed me that change of being was necessary, because we are not what we think ourselves to be. If we were what we think we are—if we had consciousness, will, if we could ‘do’, then only knowledge would be necessary. But we all think o…[Read more]

🙁 I hate to hear when sites that follow those types of stories shut down. Thanks for the heads up Dan.

  • Wow what a week! I hope everyone’s 2016 is going well. I’m getting ready for an “all-dayer” beginning tomorrow morning on one of the new books.

    • ONE of the new books! How many in the works? Sounds like overload! … Well, here’s wishing you a very productive and trouble free week and may Mercury retrograde work in your favor. Take rest and stay well.

Interesting… Dr. Jaques Vallee, as I recall, had some thoughts along similar lines. I may be mistaken, but I believe he expounded on it in Passport to Magonia. Check it out.

    • (Thanks for your reply dr j. )
Ah! I came across him recently and that is what inspired my post.
I’ve read what I could find freely available and P to M is on the book purchase list.
I feel I know where he is going with it so it won’t spoil it if you could give me your thoughts on his thoughts.

You know I think we need a book club forum….

I REALLy appreciate that you posted this… I’ve been looking for it for a while! Thank you.

    • Hey dr j. I’m very pleased with this find and glad to have a space to share it with like minds, thank you for that.
I’ve seen it referred to so often but could never find it in English.

  • Hi folks… well after all day wrestling with my old platform that I did News and Views on, I gave up and recorded it on the same platform as we do the vidchats. But anyway, I thought I’d let everyone know I DID FINALLY get the News and Views done! Yea!

    • Thanks for persisting … that was an important N&V. No accord is possible until ISIS is militarily, politically, and theologically disarmed. Let’s hope the Russians and Chinese succeed, and quickly. Best of the new year to you, Joseph, and God bless.

Yes the down side of the Russian intervention in Syria is the role of Iran. With the Saudis, the Turks, and the Iranians involved, one is dealing with a situation that is radicalized at every turn.
