Well I’m coming up on the third anniversary of my little pooch Shiloh and I, and today another first: Shiloh had her first encounter with a house fly that got into the house. She actually PLAYED with it and tried to snatch it out of thin air. She also learned that barking at it doesn’t really help. I think she’s part cat, however, because the fly actually landed … and she pounced and (yuck) ate it. Scratch one house fly….

    • She’s a fast learner!

I hope she got a treat for successful pest hunting.

        • lol… the fly WAS the treat…

            • She’s ahead of the curve if we are enticed to eat insects as a protein source.

                • I knew we could count on you for a morning laugh, BB!

We are feasting here on the eastern seaboard.
“ Dried Cicadas contain over 50% protein and are low in fat. … Cicada can be eaten whole or ground into a powder and added to any food to increase the protein content, they have a delicate nutty flavor.”

                      • Yeah I guess that would take care of the racket they make, eat’em. Soon all Michelin restaurants will surely have specials.

                    • … Dr. Farrell … don’t you mean that the “fly” was a UFO threat (not treat)?
Lou says that he investigated “houseflies” discovered by Navy aircraft at one of his shipping company warehouses. They were found to be UFO threats and that while we call them “houseflies” we really don’t know what they are. I also heard rumors that Bigelow Aerospace claims to have metafly materials,

                        • lol…. I forgot about the Clowns In America and their plans to build microdrone bugs and make them look like insects to eavesdrop… so why not a UFO? lol
