Well I managed to get it renewed…thank you to all of you for being patient with today’s vidchat. I have tentatively rescheduled it for next week, but please check in with the schedule in case something ELSE comes up. It’s been that kind of year.

Whoa… a prisoner of the state system…I must adhere and comply damn those plans I had for a vidchat. The state is my commander. Monday won’t do.

Monday wouldn’t do because I’ve been battling it ALL WEEK, and today was the only day they allowed walk-ins without an appointment, and since next week I have to take my pooch to the vet, I needed a license to be able to drive her.

Thanks for asking Downunder. She’s ok. Wagging her tail and leaping around here. She had a little allergy sore on her front leg, and we’re trying to take care of that. I bought some food supplement which will hopefully cut down on her scratching and itching. All is well.

I LOVE this in the character of the English. We don’t realize it but all the way up to WW2 people used to regularly break into song in small groups of friends, even in the US…its been mostly lost…tho can’t be forgotten totally.

Yes, people take themselves too seriously these days! If this song catches on, it could be quite powerful. It’s the fine art of the bardic mock that the west have, admittedly distorted probably, like you say, since WW2, so it’s lost its impact now. Maybe the people can restore it. I am hardly Catholic, in fact, I gave up on “the Church” a long time ago. This does not mean, however, that I gave up on Christianity or the Word. I think that goes for many here. This community is ours just as much as the Doc’s, and it is equally our responsibility to make sure we keep the integrity up, and the level of our standards intact. This means having an eye out for chaos agents and not being afraid to put them on blast and call them out for what they are.
