I don’t know much about this at all, but I went back and read the article again. There were three related articles, one was about the same phenomenon in Brazil during their warm summertime back in Feb 2018. Also in 2018, Sweden had a solar halo and the Philippines had one in May. Just a pattern I noticed and wanted to pass it on.-
There are ( new)strange cloud formations and ice crystal aberration that have been given ‘scientific’ names, and we are led to believe that these have existed all along, they’ve always been this way, but at least SOME of them are either new, or no longer exceeding rare. Also, some seem to have completely disappeared from public reports.
