I wonder if Dahboo is inferring actual physical (woo woo) ‘holes’ in the poles vs plasma vortices like Saturn, Jupiter, and Venus have at their poles? She’s come a LONG way, believe me, since I first brought her home three months ago. She’s very sweet and very smart and talkative. Much more so than when she first got her. She’s even gradually warming up to the neighbor lady.

No problem Joseph . . . after all this time! Even this close prospect is exciting! I hope Shiloh copes well. BTW, I got a big laugh imagining you throwing squeeky toys around the living room for her.

I have been concerned about Shiloh with so many strangers… I am going to have to put her in the bathroom I think, and take her outside from time to time. As for toys, she still doesn’t know how to play, but she is at least barking now. Slowly but surely we’re overcoming whatever abuse she suffered.

Say, I wonder if Shiloh will sing along with Joseph’s playing, as dogs are wont to do… A friend’s pet boxer softly howls out a harmony every time he plays harmonica or sings. That would be the sweetest thing ever!

We’re fortunate to have La Follia Austin Baroque and I enjoyed their recent Saturday afternoon concert with 2 performers on 4 beautiful harpsichords (2 Italian, 1 Franco-Flemish, 1 French) playing Buxtehude, Couperin, Rameau, and several Bach family pieces. Mostly an older audience but a few young people and children too 😉

There is the one (and only, IMO) reason for living in Austin. Fabulous Margaret! Too bad I just can’t bring myself to work hard enough to find a place to park and not worry about walking by myself back to the remote parking location that I could find. Dr. Farrell often refers to Leonard Bernstein’s 1973 Norton lecture series on music that incorporates linguistics, poetry, philosophy, and physics. Listening to them now seems even more appropriate with the new book. Overnight changes! Looks like they have a new main front page with a list of each article in a separate banner and a link that goes to the article, but page format is different. Have to click box to open comments. Didn’t have to log in. About 2 pages of articles dated today Sept. 7. Hard to keep up these days!

Perhaps it works for you, but I can click on that obscure little symbol on the lowest right corner that suggests I will “jump” to the comments section for that article, but it doesn’t work. This is clearly a way to stifle more consensus of the conservative voice… represented by the bulk of ZeroHedge readers.
