After reading the post by Dash Rendar a couple of days ago, I remembered back in the 80’s when working with Operation Rescue, a pro-life group who were allowing themselves to be arrested during peaceful protest in Las Vegas, NV, that the pro-death counterattack was led by people wearing purple. They were quite vicious.

Sorry Justa and Camille. My paraphrase of II Tim 1:7 may have confused. It reads “For God hath not given us a spirit of fear; but of power and of love, and of a sound mind” – fear is not of the Lord. I don’t think I will share scripture any more on this site.

Yes, praying here. This morning this scripture came to me over and over and now as I type – Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit. Sorry, don’t have the reference location in the New Testament at hand. Another scripture has been coming to mind repeatably for over a year – Fear is not of the Lord.-
We are not God fearing- we are God loving and we will continue this fight. We can not lose.

It was widespread in the earlier times, and then diluted over time. Consider the nation was very young at the time of the ‘adoption’ of a Constitution. My mother used to say our country was just like the Roman Empire and was heading toward the same end. At the time, she seemed melodramatic – not now. Although she was educated in a small Texas town, upon reflection, I think she learned a lot more than many today. -
