The “most people thought he meant” is usually the people assigned to make him sound stupid and create a wild interpretation that suggests he is recommending treatment, like swallowing bleach. Thanks for the article, it clearly puts the statement on the right track.

It always makes me laugh out loud when I see the hands lift high into the air. I had a piano teacher early on that played like that and expected me to do it, too. I thought it was too much show and added zero to the technique of making your hands into little finger hammers. LOL.

I am hardly Catholic, in fact, I gave up on “the Church” a long time ago. This does not mean, however, that I gave up on Christianity or the Word. I think that goes for many here.
