I’ve been saving a post about something along these lines, perhaps its time I draft it out.

I recall a Forum Borealis interview with Cliff High, where Cliff spoke of the original night vision (red overlay instead of the green today), causing countless Airmen to hallucinate. The top comment in your linked article has a several links to domestic spying articles. I don’t know what’s worse, a future open air prison that is the USSA, or another revolution stateside. Both futures will have heavy casualties.
