Another little shift in the energy geopolitical puzzle? Now we have growing military agreements between Israel and India, Saudi and Israel cozying up, and now Israel to supply Egypt with natural gas.

Those factories will never open, there is not a sufficient industrial and cultural milieu there; they would have to use mostly foreign workers, even to “3D-print” material, and that would defeat the purpose. In the meantime, the usual folks will reap fees on “feasibility studies”…

Think of it as a shift , a shift of the continuation of petroleum dollar to keep playing resource and arms game with victory slanted as always to fascist owners of enterprises operating under State flags.

I used to work in IT infrastructure… some ideas from that time:
There are security “appliances” that sit on networks (and also there are those that are built into network technologies) which track network traffic patterns and diagnose whether something might be an attack. When I was there (2010ish), “intrusion detection and prevention” was a…[Read more]-

From Crowdsource the Truth on the USS John McCain (and other) incidents; a recorded telephone conversation with a Mr Hudson who presents himself as speaking for various intelligence groups (from his description, the members of these groups come from various different agencies):
https://youtu.be/fRHzr5qwv0g-
Their theory is that this is a Chinese EM microwave pulse weapon and that the Chinese are testing it and sending a message.
To suspicious and cynical me, it sounds more like the intelligence agencies are combing the internet discussion forums (including this one since this theory was posited here by a member) and pushing a story that serves some…[Read more]-

A coincidence that happens twice in two months – Not. Some new technology sending some very strong messages. I do remember reading that the navy has it’s own secret black operators working in the background. Maybe they were all asleep again.

This seems like a lot of airstrikes? 2500 in one month?
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201708211056649977-syria-russia-jets-strikes-august/-
So I was wondering how much an airstrike costs. Here is an analysis for a US airstrike: https://www.quora.com/How-much-does-one-airstrike-cost
Even if Russian military is more cost efficient, that still probably works out to a lot of money spent in a month. (Based on the US figures it would be 6.25 billion, for a single month) -
In fact, I wonder what the whole Syrian intervention is costing Russia.
Aside from doing this as a “service to the world”, what and when will the “payback” be?-
good question.. Russia and Syria.. what the heck? Let’s see..

Many of the reasons given for why Russia is in Syria could be part of the

7. The underlying and implicit statement of the piece is that online content should be censored – to “protect us” of course. Given how implicit it is, perhaps that is the whole intent of the Times story: to once again reinforce the message that the Internet must be curtailed and “safely managed”.

5. Finally, the most obvious one perhaps: content that most people would see as problematic is not removed by Facebook when flagged….. yet there are many reports of Facebook militantly removing “politically incorrect” content. Evidence once again for the fact that Facebook drives a particular agenda: however, this time reported in the “mainstream” news.
