From all recent indications The title would appear to be something along the lines of “Die Philosophie von Affektenlehre”. A totally abductive move on my part and fitting as most logicians as well as Cognitive Neuroscientists think abduction non-existent as well. I can well imagine that if as part of the writing of this book you spent a great…[Read more]

Congratulations!
-
Well…save the congratulations until after reading the book… I’m taking a horrible chance on the way I’ve approached this topic.
-
Eh is this book coming out of Adventures Unlimited ?????
-
I’m definitely going to try the self-publishing route first. If the formatting turns out ok that way, I’m going to go with that.
-
Please make it available on Kindle if possible.

That is a good one. I once received a SPAM from a user name “Despondently Linoleum”. I thought that quite good as well.

You’re welcome Dana. There are a few gems in there potentially very useful (it seems to me) for dot connecting.
Cheers. -

Hello All,
The following piece (and others) by Walter Ong (like Francis Yates) I think quite necessary reading, may provide some enlightenment on the background of the topological metaphor et al. (et alia, et alii or et aliae … your choice) … It may also (on p. 224) shed some light on a possible deeper meaning of the phrase “yadda, yadda,…[Read more]-

Hello Sydney,
Glad you enjoyed the reading. Just because the data you are curious about wasn’t mentioned doesn’t necessarily mean that data wasn’t gathered either with this collection or separately. Following up sometimes brings even more interesting information. Cheers! -

The Moon may not be made of green cheese but who is saying that there is a “near vacuum” on the surface? NASA, that credible, always-honest institution….

I love that reference to “missing tapes”!
-
Its NASA’s speciality.. They can lose tapes of unique events and misplace data for experimants that cost billions of dollars to get into space in the first place, just as fast as they can suck up every Nazi in a 20 000 km distance… (grin).. Its their new mission statement.. “We lose Tapes, just as good as we work for Nazis.. ”

Interesting! I read the whole thing, I read that the tapes had information regarding not just temperature readings but also seisomometers and gravimeters. I was SO hoping they might mention TOMOGRAPHY.

I’m a neuroscience major. We have to take this one credit hour course where we “learn how to read technical papers”. We talked about this sort of technique in class, and the professor rolled her eyes at me when I mentioned my concerns. Of course, I opened myself up to this ugly reflex by bringing up the Rockefeller money behind the Brain…[Read more]

As well … Unfortunately there are, more than likely, a number of extremely disturbing lines of research being conducted in a variety of areas. I occasionally shudder to think, given that these few examples are from 1985, what inquiry may be going on today. I am afraid that we as human beings, more often than not, forget to adequately consider…[Read more]

Thanks BlueWren! I think it quite an interesting picture. It would be interesting to follow up on this. The info about the picture on page 299 doesn’t offer many leads as to who, what, when, where, or why. Well, we can guess the “why.”
Cheers.-
