I accidentally registered for a college course about climate change this semester. The professor already dismissed me for pointing out the author’s name on his syllabus is an anagram for “Spoken Pretenses”. That’s a red flag we would butt heads if I don’t tread carefully around him. Before I drop the course however, could someone suggest some good books to research in parallel with the propaganda I’ll be asked to digest about climate change. Books that discuss Climate Change as a genuine phenomena are welcome but I’m also looking for more of a treatment of climate change as an exploited political phenomena. As long as the course is writing intensive, it still has the potential to be rewarding. This is a psychology seminar course believe it or not.

I know Dr. Farrell has mentioned in the past that research exists which points to all the planets in our solar system heating up. More information in that arena would be welcomed as well.

A month in and I am very thankful for all these sources.
Yeah, it’s a psych course. It’s gag worthy, shouldn’t have given it the shot I did. It’s just a values-signalling platform for our professor to feel “worldly” as far as I can tell.
Examples of articles I’ve been assigned to read for the course: “If only gay sex really did cause climate change” “It’s the end of the world as we know it” “how did we get here? From western thought to wise use” (This one was a terribly insufficient analysis of the “western worldview” made me shudder… I tried to bring up Farrell’s position on the idea of the Corporate Person as the biggest influence on western thought and was censored because I started to mention the church)
Psych course? Gay sex causes climate change.?.. Does this guy write articles for the Onion? Ask him what he thinks of the Tavistock Insti tute. 😉 I think that this type of soapbox preaching is the quackademia that the good Doc keeps talking about.. Or you can just answer that gay sex does cause climate change, because people who make decisions that destory the climate are usually people who dont like children, so they can act selfishly, without caring for the consequences of their actions because they arent breeders, ergo ga y s ex causes climate change. then tell him to go do some cocaine and LSD, then he can start throwing dice around to see if he can convince himself to go kill someone.
Had my first classmate “convert” approach me today. She asked me where I got my information, not to vet my sources, but because she’s been feeling ignorant and undernourished by the LameStream media claptrap. My babbling in class that flusters the professor has not been for naught!
This professor does get flustered. Last week I asked him one mild question about the axis on a graph in his power-point, and he wrote with an expo directly on the projector screen. Got over-flustered trying to wash it off, the whole class laughing, and then reaches for a water bottle saying “I don’t know who’s this is, but I’m thirsty so it’s mine now!” As soon as he drinks the water bottle he makes a face and says, “That’s not water — that’s water mixed with bleach!” I had to excuse myself from class, because I couldn’t keep from smirking and being disrespectful.
