    Received a copy of Walter Bosley’s latest round of intriguing speculation on Ambrose Bierce and all things airships – Destination Carcosa. Some readers may accuse Mr B of spotting secret agents lurking behind every bush, and there may be a grain of truth in that accusation, but as far as secret agents go, it takes one to know one, and at least Mr B has some personal and practical experience to guide him. Plus his high-octane speculation about the Inland Empire, airships and secret agents make for some fascinating reading. You go Mr B!

      Carcosa is the next book on my ‘to read’ list . . . as soon as I’m finished with Shimmering Light, which I think has enough personal knowledge to justify some speculations 😉 Mr. B is working on a new (secret) project . . . we’re all wondering what it could be! He’d enjoy your comments Tim . . .

        Thanks Margaret, Walter and I have just been discussing footnotes in Destination Carcosa. I think it’s turning out to be one of his best yet.
