20% into “Gods”, Kindle-wise, sorry Dr Joseph. Interesting section on theocentric and anthropocentric views of authority within and/or over human affairs, how our human-centric state of ruling affairs excludes taking seriously the UFO, as to do so undermines what is real, which in turn is whatever the King says is real. Witchcraft as the sin of rebellion, which PL discussed in Sinister Forces. All well and good, but the authors make me a little uneasy by equating the UFO phenomenon with Marduk and others in the Sumerian pantheon. I’m not sure the authors are on steady ground with that. Not sure that Adamski’s Orthon or John Keel’s Indrid Cold are on par with Tiamat and Marduk. Because that’s basically what’s being implied. The Annunaki may have some things in common with the UFO phenomenon but a common origin isn’t one of them. I reckon. Back to the book.
