It is not about feelings at all but reality. Indeed reality can differ from person to person and lead to debate, sometimes sharp debates! That is a large part of what we do on this forum. Can’t take that be somewhere else.

I thought he was much older. Perhaps too much alcohol over his lifetime has taken its toll.

Or maybe being an attorney who prosecuted the Mafia in NYC, then became police commissioner, then Mayor. He was a DEMOCRAT originally and then became neutral and finally a Republican. Maybe all those factors would put age on your face and not alcohol after all.
