This is interesting, when I hit the link for staging.clumsy-muscle.flywheelsites.com I get a “You have been locked out” screen. I got here to post this by clicking on a link in an email notification. Weird… The problem seems to have vanished now. Had me thinking I had broken some rule in one of my posts.

These are what are called Runner Ducks which are used by many Asian countries to control insects on crops. They are great egg producers as well and because of their upright characteristic and long necks, are able to move quickly to their targets. (I raise chocolate colored ones for their eggs).
100,000 against billions, I believe they will need a great deal more to combat this. My wife and I prefer duck eggs over chicken eggs ourselves.
We also raise chickens for organic eggs… and adding Silver Appleyards which are used for both duck eggs and meat. I use duck eggs for baking, chicken eggs for eating as “eggs”. The duck eggs are a bit rich for my taste but it is probably more conditioning (years of eating chicken eggs).
