“…..At this event, Le Maire stated ever-so candidly that “the Bretton Woods order has reached its limits. Unless we are able to re-invent Bretton Woods, the New Silk Road might become the New World Order”.

He went onto state that “the pillars of that order have been the International Monetary Fund and its sister institution, the World Bank…[Read more]

  • Tidbit on changing the texts and real printed books. In a bookshop near home I found a copy of the unfindable Treasures of the Iraq Museum, a thick 1973 book on the Baghdad collections as they used to be before they were “liberated”. Now and again it pops up for sale on the web.

Great suggestion! Those are two of my favorite books by Dr. Farrell. Especially, Yahweh the Two Faced God. Brimstone chatter, for sure!

Nice to see that there can be good conversation on religion. Just as a suggestion, why don’t you suggest that your friend read Genes, Giants, Monsters and Men, and also Yahweh the Two Faced God, I’m sure those two books will inspire some fire and brimstone chatter.

Let’s assume that the HK protests have a genuine and a structured component. The trouble with genuine protests is that they lack the means to promote a strategy of change, all that the powers in charge have to do is wait it out until people get tired and go back to their usual occupations. But there are forces using this as a crisis of…[Read more]

Couldn’t agree more Dana .. “they’re” wringing the Jetstream story out like a dish rag .. The whole thing has become utterly ridiculous .. As always .. we are fed the scraps .. Boring .. tedious .. predictable garbage ..

  • The increasingly outlandish “news” reports about what allegedly happened to Epstein in jail are getting monotonous and it is a waste of time to discuss them here. The “news” is, however, very tight-lipped about all the goings-on in the blackmail network. So much for freedom of information and the due process of law….

Now, I know here at Giza we tend to use pianos as kindling to keep Dr. Farrell, Shiloh, and Bruno warm at night, but I must admit, I’m truly a sucker for anything Chopin. This video also seemed to pull my sixteen year old cousin away from his iPhone for a brief moment. Hm, I wonder why:)

    • Beautiful performance.

      • My grandmother graduated in music (piano) in 1903 from Oberlin College so it is an instrument that I have played my entire life. What a young master of the instrument! Looking forward to getting my piano out of storage and back into playing condition so I can start to play again… even if just the Chopin etudes and “finger exercises”.

        • I’m certainly no musical genius, but I recently dug out our old acoustic guitar, restrung it, and started jamming again. It had been ten years, or so, since I last played. I can’t really express how much joy it’s bringing to my life. So yah, dust off that piano and have a blast!
