Copied the wrong text! Also from De. Farrell:
Folks, I am having difficulty getting into my admin page to schedule blogs… if we’re unable to fix it, there may not be blogs tomorrow. This means I cannot access the forum to post there, so if any of you are members and can post on the Forum, I’d appreciate if someone could post a notice for me…[Read more]

    From the Doc

Folks, there is a new cover for the McCarthy book, courtesy of Walter Bosley. Unfortunately, it also wiped out all the nice reviews people gave me, so if you see this, could you please repost your reviews? I am still having trouble with the website and it does not look like it will be resolved soon.

    • Cool!
I’ll buy a second copy to read and use and keep the first one in “mint” condition!

      • The “nice reviews” of the earlier version of the book are not lost. Click on Ratings and Reviews, then click on > Find Reviews for Previous Versions.

    • I’m still waiting for your book, but Bosley’s Napoleon book has arrived: can’t put it down!

  • @steve11 Hey, Steve. My wife is away for the next 10
Days. Maybe after that we could meet one weekday evening? Coffee or dinner or whatever. 2nd week of July maybe? Let me know best times for you. I’m so glad to have another local member here. I’ve been a member from the day he started subscriptions. See ya.

@guygrr I REALLY resonated with your commentary from the last chat. I just heard it. THANK YOU! My wife suffers from Lyme and many of the other problems you mentioned. I personally have a complete disconnect between body and soul. Most of my life I have little memory of… Atheism, addiction. Any suggestions for treating Lyme with no money to…[Read more]

Started watching a very disturbing documentary on Netflix called Making a Murderer. You might find it of interest. I never did any criminal law, but if I were to start practice again I think I would want to try criminal defense work. I feel passionate about it.
    Happy New Year!

    • You might check in your area to see if there is an Innocence Project there. Perhaps connected with local law schools? That would be a good place to invest your skills and energy. I’ve heard about that documentary. I plan to watch it.

    Thanks, Deb. 🙂

  • I love this feature. Maybe I’ll start using it. The crazy work schedule is finally done. I might bite the bullet and look into a parlegal job with the idea of MAYBE getting my law license back, eventually. I just don’t know if I want that kind of stress in my life these days , despite the possible $$ benefits. Besides, it would also mean working…[Read more]

As a matter of fact, in 1977, (before I ever did drugs!, I saw a flourescent blue fireball in the sky on Chesuncook Lake in Maine. This lake rests next to Mt. Kathadin, the northernmost terminus of the Appalachain Trail. We canoed out to a small island in the lake and camped there. Suddenly “swoosh.” Like a day-glo blue flaming basketball. Scared…[Read more]

I got a ticket! 2:20 this morning. That was the only slot that wasn’t sold out! I loved it.

  • To all of my new (and old) friends. Please forgive me for not being more sociable. I’ve been working some very long days. Come December 26 things will be back to normal. I will be spending more time on the site then. For now, have a Wonderful Holiday Season. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy New Year! Thank you to all members for your…[Read more]
