When do we get to Enkidu banging his way into civilised form?? When does Inanna turn up?? I love her..
Except for her screwing up Mardu’s plans to dominate Ki like his father told him he could… and with supposedly Marduk’s younger brother…. but I havent traced Dumuzi’s parental link to Enki yet..
It is haunting and beautiful. I esp. like the sound and mood of traditional Middle Eastern music and instruments. You might enjoy the works of The Lyre Ensemble, which uses Mesopotaniam literature to recreate ancient songs and instruments. http://www.stefconner.com/the-lyre-ensemble/
Opa! I feel like smashing some plates! Hauntingly beautiful but needs a few more verses IMO.
Impressive…

that’s marvellous, thankyou Margaret ! I have a great fondness for the oud and enjoy it’s contemporary expression.
Me too, esp. traditional Persian . . . and Armenian w/ duduk, which is transcending.
