  I’ve seen The Cure twice; at their first tour of Australia in the early 80s, and then at their final tour of Australia 20 (?) years later…I think allusions to Mithras is a bit of a stretch, especially since Twyman is such a drongo…. you may recall that in the book “Clock Shavings” Twyman describes a seance with Jesus. Unfortunately Jesus wasn’t interested in spilling too many beans…
