Found on my internet wandering: “Neoliberalism is not just an economic policy, it is a project of “full spectrum dominance” of the human psyche. It is an indoctrination that tells people to be more efficient, to schedule and micromanage their lives as to increase productivity. One must become a widget whose sole function is to make money and whose value as a person is determined by their economic status. ”

If Neoliberalism highlights the distinction between the Arbeitsschlag and the Glaubesschlag then it proposes a new view of personhood; personal govenance vs. core individualism. It’s pure Yahwehism if it demands a moral response, and only a moral response, to phenomena. Dr. de Hart’s book on Shelley’s examination of neo-Promethianism puts this strange melange of viewer-created epiphenomena into stark relief and demonstrates that if we believe that our connection to the physical medium can create monsters or angels then morality is suspect and not to be deified. Neo-Liberalism isn’t the problem; our personal aesthetics are the problem.
Okay Baz, had to look up the German words and not sure of the spelling of the first as it did not come up in the form you wrote on Yandex translate. So, please help with translations first:
Arbeitschlag – did you mean Arbeitschlacht or is this a purpose made philosophical word? Arbeit = work, schlag = “blow, stroke, beat, shock, strike, beating”… maybe impact? So arbeitschlag = work impact?
Glaubesschlag = think impact. Glaube = think, Glauben = believe. Is it thought or belief or both here?
the war for work, and the war for belief 🙂
ie, the imperative to construe both as part of personhood
