    • More irritating.

    • I watched the wedding of course, since I AM a royalist at heart. Three things annoyed me about this one though: the gospel singing, the black man’s evangelist preaching, and the Mass that should have been a traditional High Mass. These things do not belong in an English Royal Wedding.

My suspicion about Miss Markel is that she is a CIA plug-in to effect a *soft* regime change in England. It won’t be difficult, since England’s population has been remarkably altered with mixed races, cultures, and religions that have absolutely no loyalty to the Queen. When I watched Miss Markel say her vows, I distinctly got a very bad impression that she already *knows* what her real role will now be. Time will tell.

      • Yes though being a good actress she didn’t even PRETEND to be just a wee bit nervous at any time during the extenuating events (this would have made her seem more human). Anyway, somebody in the British oligarchy knows who she “really” is. [And we don’t, apparently, even really know with certainty who Obama is, despite 2 terms.]

        • I agree that the soul music was quite incongruous in the setting, almost forced; more than a “homage to the bride” it seemed like part of the current “political correctness” mania, driven by the social engineering that everybody can see but few seem to be discussing.

      • “the black man’s evangelist preaching” The brother bishop from the Anglican church in America appeared to be the only believer at the wedding. The eye-rolling and smirking congregants should have kept themselves in check.

        • They cant help it. Their faces are unable to show any expression other than scorn. It’s part of the training, like charm school for ‘Royals’.

      • BlueWren, at this point, I dont think there is any difference between the CIA, FBI, or MI5, MI6, or the Yakuza.

    • Please note … What is “slap bang” in the middle of her tiara .. !!

    • I agree with someone (maybe CAF) who simply said it is a rebranding of the monarchy. Period.

      • The British/German Monarchy Parasites are shoveling the ‘Obama’ illusion.
Oh, so progressive! Let’s include American slavery into the ceremony because it works so well to encourage brotherly love and we love all the unwashed commoners. Have some cake.

    • They may be re-branding but I am unsure what the point is. Harry has moved way down the totem pole now. As William’s children get older the focus will return to them as the heirs to the throne and surely Harry/Megan and their children will just be supporting characters. I did not that it was interesting that her dress had the commonwealth flowers embroidered on to it and months ago when the engagement was announced a newspaper said the Queen planned to use them as super Commonwealth ambassadors. So this does seem to play into Dr F’s take on the revivification of the Commonwealth.

      • I don’t think Prince Harry is Prince Charles’s son. I think he is Princess Diana’s and James Hewitt’s son, and that is another reason the Queen was able to allow this marriage to proceed. Since he can never be King, a marriage to a black woman doesn’t matter. What matters most nowadays is the message they’re sending out about modernising the Monarchy. One commentator even suggested that perhaps in the future we might see royal gay marriage.
