now that’s interesting
When I studied electrical engineering, we did quite a few laboratory practicals with electric windings, magnets, transformers, motors, etc. Most of them had a “buzz” which changed over the range of the experimental conditions we were looking at. I can imagine that if the electrical windings of a system along with the shape of the magnetic core are tweaked for sound rather than electromagnetic factors, one could get lots of musical tones…..If placed in an appropriately shaped acoustic space, these sounds could get quite loud. Is the solar system an acoustically shaped space?
Interesting… electro-acoustic I would think.
@carad, do you mean something like non-inertial cavitation in the aether ?
I was being more prosaic and down to earth…. and was thinking of the analogy of concert halls, churches, etc. where the shape of the space in which the resonating body is “played” results in different qualities and amplification of sound in the contained space. So, a different way to say what I asked is: is the solar system a “concert hall”? :-)…. But cavitation is an intriguing idea and it’s interesting to think about the formation of planets and asteroids and plasma bodies out of the “liquid sea” background of the solar system / universe using some kind of cavitation process.
perhaps CERN is vibrating or might be intended to vibrate some of the frozen volatiles (Kuiper objects) out there, like the frozen methane on Pluto ?
CERN Death Star?
Music of the Spheres… a dipolar magnetic field is a sphere.
Sound creates matter..

Lasers can create matter out of vacuum (if they’re really majorly hugely powerful……)

How powerful??? PETAWATT POWERFUL… (I think that they’re overcompensating for something personally… but what do I know…) http://theconversation.com/worlds-most-powerful-laser-is-2-000-trillion-watts-but-whats-it-for-45891
