  Everything they subject us to is theater now. I won’t be voting this time. It is utterly a waste of time and makes me feel like I’m somehow approving of this devilish charade.

    I agree – we’re going to abstain from voting as well. Plus, with the slow descent into communism you might not want your ID associated with a vote for the “wrong party”, as whoever is in charge after elections (after the mass chaos and riots begin to subside) may decide to round up all dissenters, rebels & dissidents.
    
    Interestingly all voters in California received notification to go online and re-verify the party they are registered for. This process asked for clear and specific personal information…address, birthday, drivers license or state ID number, plus last 4 of SSN (interesting, since they supposedly don’t require any of this to vote in person as they voted down ID requirements to vote) – almost seems like they’re making or verifying their rolls of who is naughty or nice – not a list I really want to be on. I’m currently registered Libertarian, which keeps me out of the big 2 system, but I begin to wonder is it neutral enough in light of where things seem to be heading? I’m debating whether or not I need to switch to Independent.

      You can take the approach to “keep a low profile”, but you are kidding yourself. There is no such thing. Just being a member of this website means you have an open mind enough to challenge the system, that you aren’t a mind numbed TV programmed acolyte. This isn’t a time to be one of the flock in the ghetto, but be one of the people who drive the community OUT of the hands of the gestapo and save them from their ignorance. To be an American means you have the right to vote. In Australia, you would be fined for not voting. Take your pick. I chose to attempt to make a difference even if it means that someone cheats the system.
