Do any of my fellow Gizars deal with “brain fog?” I don’t know what it is, but the past week or two, I just feel cognitively SLOW. It’s like my mental battery is on “E”. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I do. For me, it comes and goes, along with a cluster of other symptoms commonly ascribed to fibromyalgia. One of the most common recommendations I’ve heard is make sure you’re getting good sleep, or improve the quality of your sleep as best you can. There are a number of supplements and techniques for improving sleep. I take a few things, but one that’s fairly safe is chelated magnesium a couple hours before bed. What’s safe and recommended depends on your individual case, of course.
If you also get sleepy a lot during your normal waking hours or wake up snoring/gasping for air, some doctors will suggest a sleep apnea test and, if the test results warrant it, use of a CPAP machine–a device that pumps oxygen into your nose or mouth while you sleep. (These tests require good insurance–they’re usually expensive.) I suspect the apnea diagnosis threshold is deliberately set pretty low, but I’m not sure. I’ve heard that some people swear by these CPAP machines. Personally, I can’t sleep with hoses attached to my nose!
If you suspect sleep problems that may be due to EMFs in your environment, Elana Freeland has some suggestions about that. One simple one, if I recall correctly, is sleeping with your head to the north or east.
If sleep is not the problem, there are supplements and dietary recommendations specifically for brain power.
I’m sure other Gizars will chime in with more info.
Acetyl-L-carnitine is useful for clearing brain fog. There are also many foods that provide neuronal nourishment.
You can also search for studies that discuss neurotransmitter enhancement. Of course, it is always best before taking any supplement to research if there are possible conditions or factors present, or possible detrimental pharmaceutical interactions that might contraindicate the taking of a supplement. It is generally thought that supplements are harmless. In most cases they are but Vitamins A, D, E, and possibly K can present problems for a small percentage of folks.
Remove yourself somehow from the wi-fi/cell soup. Easier said than done these days, I know. Is your area infected with 5G yet? Maybe investigate your living environment with an EMF meter?
Try sleeping in another room. I believe we are being mapped.
Next to various vitamins, magnesium. Andreas Kalcker CDS and a blushield tecnological gizmo. Brain fog = not my problem, slipping in a non-active depressed state is.
Brain fog is the most common symptom of microwave radiation overexposure (WiFi, cellular, Bluetooth, DECT, etc.). Unless you know how to use the test equipment and, more importantly, interpret the results, I would suggest that you try to find someone in your area who does residential EMF surveys. If they’re good and have decent equipment, it will cost some money (≈$250-300 USD or ≈$300-400 CAD) depending on where you are. Keep in mind, the price can vary depending on the level of service they provide. Here in the Toronto area, they’re about $350 CAD.
If you are in remote location, you can invest in an EMF scanner. I purchased one for my house and was surprised how much my smart meter was affecting my office. I bought a smart meter shield and it has clearly reduced the radiation in that room. I keep most of my laptops, phones, iPads, etc. in Faraday bags when not in use and that has helped me sleep and think. If you are in a residential neighborhood or in a city, I would think that toddb’s solution is your best option. Hopefully, they would have ideas about how to reduce the EMF’s in your home.
