Interesting words from one of my least favorite presidents, but even he could rise to the occasion: “The dogmas of the quiet past, are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise — with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew, and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country.” Abraham Lincoln.

    • “Democracy dies in darkness” – motto of the “Washington Post”….

      • Outstanding. His saying about being thought a fool are words I try to live by. Not always successfully.

        • Clearly, CNN and lamestream media didn’t exist during the day of Abraham Lincoln! Nice words, but so difficult to follow today.
