On a more serious note…
I was just informed that the company I have purchased zinc picolinate from has merged with Onegevity https://www.thorne.com/press-releases/thorne-merges-with-onegevity-announces-new-parent-company-thorne-healthtech
So now, even though the dose is 30 mg instead of 15, I will be switching to the Paradise Herbs’ brand https://paradiseherbs.com/products/zinc/
I’ve posted this as an FYI for anyone else that obtains supplements from Thorne.

  Thanks for this bit of information. Thorne was a good company, even if expensive. I think their standards are very high, but this connection to Big Pharma is disturbing.

  BTW, I often use this as one of my references when choosing supplement brands (small subscription fee, but more than worth it if you take a lot of supplements): https://www.consumerlab.com/
  They test a whole slew of different supplements to see if they contain what’s listed on the label and test for certain contaminants as well.

      I should’ve warned – you need to ignore most of their pronouncements and conclusions, as they’re usually very mainstream. However, what’s rare, and useful (for me at any rate), is the raw lab results when they test particular supplements. Those are found in the “Products Review” section, which is virtually the only part of the site I use.
