A post I made yesterday became quite controversial. It was not intended to produce such a response; it was a different perspective on things that I felt may be useful for people to consider.
It was in no way meant to diminish the immense work Dr. Farrell has put into his books nor the depth and value of insights he shares with members of this community.
Pulling information from a variety of sources in order to gain a more complete grasp of concepts and situations is how I choose to function. I do not pass judgement on any of these sources as good or bad; some have more ‘nuggets’ to offer than others; this is true.
My own discovery process has led me down many ‘rabbit holes’; some of what these ‘holes’ contained were very unpleasant to view and digest. To my dismay, each dive led to an uglier and uglier reality. I can be quite stubborn and I believe that all problems have solutions; this mindset has kept and keeps me diving and exploring regardless of what I find. And, after what seemed like a bottomless pit of hopelessness, some solutions that may produce positive outcomes have come to light. These potential solutions are worth pursuing in my view; perhaps they will pan out and perhaps they will not. To sit back and watch what is taking place – the increasing toxification of the planet’s life supporting resources and the beings that inhabit it along with the degradation of the human life experience -,without seeking out ways to rectify the situation is unacceptable to me.
I do not expect nor wish for people to agree with my thoughts in their entirety. Perhaps people will find parts of value to them in their agreement or disagreement. If so, then I consider it worthwhile to have shared.
We are all facing very challenging times. In my view, every single person here offers information that is of use to others. This community has provided support to one another and expanded our individual perspectives; it is a positively oriented community of which I feel fortunate to be a part.
Should Dr. Farrell determine that my contributions, in whole or in part, here are, in his view, more detrimental than beneficial, he may tell me so either publicly or privately. I will abide by his wishes.
I hope this clarifies, at least to a satisfactory degree, where I am coming from.
    Best to all,
    PiPoe

    • Ok, I’ll bite. Since you seem willing to thoughtfully explain yourself, I can applaud that, and if it’s not too late to consider such things as “playing devils advocate” or “questioning one’s pre-suppositions or the actual content of what they write, let me ask you this.

If you’re going to post regularly in the Forum, doesn’t your statement as follows, and I quote:

“Pulling information from a variety of sources in order to gain a more complete grasp of concepts and situations is how I choose to function. I do not pass judgement on any of these sources as good or bad; some have more ‘nuggets’ to offer than others; this is true.”

Does the posting of such material from – (by your own words} does not engage your critical faculties to parse whether the source or the information is good or bad, or if the material is worthwhile or not, isn’t it fair then to ask, “why post it then”? At the very least shouldn’t you try and post in a manner that might actually help bring up the overall “signal to noise” ration in the forum, and not simply throw something up against the wall and see if it sticks?

Now, allow me preface what I’m going to say next, as not being about you as an individual, but in that I am speaking of the Internet itself.

We are bombarded daily with second and third hand links, outright propaganda and what some.might even consider to be, the shaping our opinions while bypassing our awareness, At the very least that’s marketing, (something I got paid to do) and at worst something that Dr. Farrell began to uncover in his book: “Microcosm And Medium” which rhymes with “Rind Patrol” –

If we’re going to actually make this forum what is could be, then we ALL have an obligation to ask ourselves, is this worth posting? My point is simple, we all need to work harder to raise the level of discourse here.

Let’s leave the marketing and the noise and the fluff out and get down to brass tacks. Anyone whose paying attention can see trouble coming down the hill, shouldn’t we try and make better sense of it at least?

That is my one an only response in this thread. As to anyone’s response to it, your mileage may vary :]

This is a general, rather than individualized, response to comments in relation to this thread. It is the final commentary I will offer on this topic.
Obviously what one person may think of value is not necessarily what another will. I found some nuggets and some iron pyrite in the video I posted yesterday; because I found some value in parts of its content, I decided to share it in case others who chose to view it also gained something useful (a nugget, a new question, inspiration to look into something further, etc.). From commentary, I got the distinct impression that some members felt this content was unworthy of considering in its entirety because it did not offer external sources that meet certain ‘acceptable’ criteria – I don’t happen to agree that verifiable external sources are always necessary as long as no false claims of such sourcing is made. It is my view that it is up to each consumer to decide for themselves whether or not to consider any information and what level of credence they may place upon it.
It is my understanding that the GDS site was originally established as a discussion forum in relation to Dr. Farrell’s books. It’s scope appeared much broader at the time I chose to become a member. I have heard some state that they would like it to return to a closer semblance of its roots. Perhaps that is the direction it will flow.
Regardless, I do not think an environment where people feel they may be reproached for not ‘towing the line’ is conducive to open discourse; typically it will simply limit participation and may also lead to stagnation.
Something else came up in the commentary that warrants addressing – just to clear up any misconceptions. It seems some have the impression I’ve used GDS as a personal marketing platform. This appears to be in relation to the announcement I made about a conscious intention group forming at the Po8 site. An assumption may have been made that the announcement was done without first obtaining an okay from Dr. Farrell. This was not the case, he was asked in advance and I was given the okay. I will caveat this in one respect, while I did specifically communicate with him what the post would be for and that the host site would be McTaggart’s, I did not share the specific wording of the announcement – that was done on purpose and was meant as a happy surprise for him. Whether it was or not, I do not know as I haven’t received any feedback one way or the other. Hopefully, this clears up any misunderstandings about this subject.
        Warm regards,

“The islands serve as a warm-weather play areas for his bunnies who are being trained to be comfort animals. Picture a summertime day-camp for bunnies. ” a nice story.

              • Hello PiPoe,

I hope you are well, unfazed and smiling as I know you to be.

              • I listened to Gigi on DJ a couple of years ago and it was one of the reasons I got turned off on DJ for regular viewing, although I think his interviews with other people (e.g. Dr. Farrell, Catherine Austin Fitts) and his non-new age broadcasts are very good.

Regarding what should be posted here, I generally agree with Pi Poe that we should err on the side of free inquiry and discussion as self-censorship is a clear aim of Mr. Globaloney. At the same, we should, as Blake said, try to post what we consider to be useful information, but this determination is somewhat subjective and Pi Poe made it clear that he finds some material in the video to be useful.

Of course when we do post links people don’t find to be useful or don’t like, we should be open to criticism of the content posted, but I’d be against attacking the poster for making a “bad” decision to post (as a general guideline).

                  • It’s not about attacking anybody – it’s about defending the forum from what looks to me like a coordinated attack on the GDS egregore with nonsense woowoo posts and even worse, 3 new members who seem to know each other marketing Lynne McTaggart’s intention groups (I have no problem with Lynne, have many of her books). From where I am sitting, it looks coordinated and pretty underhand to me and it seems wrapped up in a veneer of love and light that I deem to be false. But this is just my point of view. I for one do not want to waste my time researching vidchat questions etc and spending WEEKS of research taking a serious dive and look into matters if the forum and its membership is going in the opposite direction: to me, my task and enthusiasm and passion that I have put into GDS over the years is a complete waste of my time going forward. I want GDS – I do not want Solari/DJ/Lynne fanclubs – if I wanted a constant barrage of those sites I would be there. Unfortunately, the perspective on GDS becomes ever narrowed by the small pool of commentators that colonise those forums and are now colonising GDS and I suspect that is by design. Perhaps it is actually just a perfect time for me to move on to new endeavours and I absolutely refuse to be entangled with woo woo and superficial ‘research’.

                      • Katie, you make good points. It’s very possible for a forum to be inundated with posts and material that take it in a direction that many members don’t want to go in. I’ve seen this happen on forums myself.

I usually use the ignore feature on certain members if they constantly post material of no interest or what I consider to be contrary to the spirit of the forum. This may ultimately come down to a decision by the moderators. I’ve been in forums that allow pretty much anything to be posted and other forums that have very strict posting rules rejecting posts for many different reasons.

                        • I absolutely agree Katie, well said.

                          • I have not noticed the specific viewers promoting the intentions group your referring to. However, I have observed precisely the problem your describing with ufology and the alternative research field. Some people such as you and me genuinely desire to take action. We do not know exactly what it is we should do in the immediate term to solve the world’s problems. We work to address our personal cultural and spiritual problems. And eventually we work our way from our way from there. You can only impact the world from your life out. Our traditional culture is a source of hope for us and should inform us as to the action we ought to take.
I have noticed a widespread problem. Namely, that many traditionalists have lost all hope. They have become cynical and forget that the divine does exist. They further neglect the power of intention and coordinated human action. Many will say that we ought to abandon all hope because people brought into scientific materialism and cultural Marxism. Also, I observed that many members on the site acted as if the sky were falling after the federal selection of Briben. Trump was never the messiah and he caved in his response to covid. Trump was indeed in the hands of the technocrats. That being said, I agree I do not want a fan club. But, rather an action group. A group of men and women who organize to take specific action pertaining to cultural, legal, economic, or wellness issues.
Indeed, the traditionalist may say that men and women like us are all talk and no results. However, it takes a tremendous amount of skill in a given area to take action that would result in positive change. This should not discourage us from honing our skills or taking action. We should not judge those unprepared to take significant action, so long as they are preparing to do so.
We do not need to be great composers or great scientists. As I have discussed in numerous vidchats we should have faith in our own ability to support the local economy as Catherine Austin Fits explained. We should be confident in our ability to rebuild traditional Western Culture as Dr. Farrell has reiterated. Bear in mind, just as the actions of no one man led to the cultural crises we are now in, the actions of many will lead us out of this cultural crises. The same holds true when comes to building up the local economy.
A lie that the technocrats would have us believe is that we are powerless. Mankind’s intention and actions are indeed powerful. There is power in prayer and organized efforts. However, we must choose to make these efforts or allow the technocrats to control our culture and economy.
Catherine Austin Fits has taken more action in the last few months then she has in the last several years. She has interviewed a number of medical experts and legal scholars opposed to medical tyranny. She is forming “Solari Circles” for taking action (legally, venture capital, local action etc.). The circle can be either educational or action oriented. If the group is action oriented it can take action by impacting change locally using techniques Fits described or others, build a venture capital fund, or build a wealth management group. The group could also organize legal action. We should follow this example and form our own action groups. The action you take is your choice. But, whether or not you take action is a choice between medical tyranny or a better outcome cultural and economically speaking.
I want to form an action group to form a group for taking legal action against universities for vaccine mandates. I don’t know any students or faculty at any of these universities who are against the vaccines, so I would have to find one such person who would be represented in such a lawsuit. Of course, there are organizations we could contact and many members of The Solari Report have a great deal of legal and medical expertise. We may not succeed, but at the very least we exemplified hope to our fellow traditionalists.
