Better not have any fallout over Canada or Trudumb will apply his carbon tax. Not sure who he’ll send it to but that’s ok as long it makes into the receivables column for accounting purposes…good as gold. -

You’re right and the English language is supposed to have more words than any other language. The Aussies and the Scots are usually good at word invention. Anyone care to have a go at this? Being of Scottish descent I’ll give it a try. Jinglebrain. Only a jinglebrain would sing something so stupid.-
“Jobby” would suffice…..

Where’s all the cowboys with their lassos? How long would it take to run one of those down and hogtie it?-
Hello Bluenose,
It’s Manhattan, no self respecting cowboy would be caught dead there. But if we were lucky enough to have one handy, that mechanical sausage would be strapped and hung out to dry it no time flat.

A little geoengineering here, a little geoengineering there?
Locally where I live, sprinkler systems are used on a regular basis to prevent frost damage to strawberry crops. These systems are set up before the growing season starts and left in place in case of drought. Tractor powered pumps are started before the temperature drops to…[Read more]-
Hello and good afternoon Bluenose,
You must be very lucky to be local to farming and harvesting. Thank you for the concise description of farming risk management measures. I guess then that France’s problem is either intentional on their part (highly unlikely) or geo-engineered to serve a more sinister purpose on a global scale. From the…

Most things are so much more expensive in Western Europe than North America (often due to excessive taxation) that I doubt most French farmers could afford to install sprinkler systems and pay for the extra water. Lots of farming in France is still — for the moment — done on small farms. But I’m no expert; that’s just my guess from what I…

Would anyone care to speculate on communist China’s endgame?-
Oh yes! Fun to speculate 🙂
Will get back to you after reading the article and listening to the videos you linked. -
The Saker article provided a really good summary and The Rising Tide dialogue presented some interesting background and insights (perhaps a bit too rosy a perspective – China is hardly saintly – nevertheless good information to reflect upon).
Regarding China’s endgame, I lean toward protection of their sovereignty and culture as well as…

I wonder if Putin sent Biden a copy of the dossiers they have on Biden Sr. and Jr. I also wonder which look-a-like they’ll dust off to meet with Putin. I’ll speculate that if this comes to pass that Biden’s retirement won’t be far behind.
