I agree.. Hold the ground and let them fire you , there will be a growing number of people that will turn to a class action for discrimination, unfair dismissal and other means. My husbands employer sent an email to all staff yesterday requiring to know of the status of all staff, as he is getting inquiries about it from their clients..-
Everyone needs to hold the line and explain that it is a medical question and actually illegal to ask these questions. If people want to volunteer an answer, it is up to them but employers can not demand an answer. There are PLENTY of cases regarding AIDS and other issues that have created a precedent to support the employee.

Thanks to Ady and DownunderET, I am learning of the different restrictions by state (province, sorry). I live in the USSA and observe wide differences from state to state, but I had not transferred that observation to other countries. What a global social experiment.

I grew up in Sydney, My 85 year old parents are in Sydney, alone. I am in Darwin. I can’t get there to see them. I must disagree politely, things are not ok here where I am and there is a very strong undercurrent of something very nasty here in general society. I am lamenting the facts as I see them.
