Sadly, I haven’t seen any owls here in Dubai but we used to get an occasional one visiting in Johannesburg – which of course set the local birds into a tizzy :-)… it was like the fare had come to town

I don’t know what to make of it, but I’m definitely one of the “maybe-people”. No conscious memories but lots of indications, like odd dreams, alienation/fear/depression for 25 yrs, obsession with certain things etc. Does anybody know any good hypnotist in the scandinavian region or at least northern europe? Just curious…

I rather like owls actually; I’ve always thought their feather markings beautiful and I like the owls I have encountered in literature from a very early age (for example, Owl in Winnie the Pooh). I wonder at the animism that we project on / perceive in / inculcate in different creatures. It’s fascinating.
-
Cara .. I have hand reared many varieties of fledglings and none come close to the owl .. Truly the “cats of the air” ..
Amazing creatures .. Beautiful animals ..-

This is an interesting podcast from the editors/journalists of SOTT (sott.net) with philosopher Stephen Hicks all about Post Modernism and its deleterious effects: http://www.stephenhicks.org/2017/07/26/sott-radio-interview-july-2017/

So it might be that reading about owls set up some kind of attractor field and one came to hoot outside your window…. wow.

Global surveillence courtesy Google, Facebook and other social networking platforms:
http://globalguerrillas.typepad.com/globalguerrillas/2017/07/welcome-to-our-global-censorship-and-surveillance-platform.html-
Interesting article. I do find on the net extensive and unnecessary use of prodigiously hyperbolic linguistic sets (let the AIBot digest THAT!); this is what many people have been conditioned to. Now while web posts in which the only contents consist of “expletives” just reflect on the mental age of the writer (or bot?), this idea of the “web…[Read more]

Old fashioned barter… this time: fighter jets for palm oil, coffee and tea

Not to sound naive, but wouldn’t it be better for them to acquire technology that IMPROVES PEOPLE’S LIVES?

Maybe this is a good time to invest in Tea and Coffee (avoiding Palm Oil however).

Sorry Dana, I couldn’t hear over all that Naive making so much noise..:)
They need Airplanes Dana.. They dont want to be like the Phillipines and ram the US navy with their mercantile fleet.. Though.. the US Navy seems to have trouble avoiding those Radar stealth Container ships.. -

This is fascinating, if only for the language used: “musical sun”
https://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2017-07/ras-msr063017.php-
One plausible-sounding suggestion for changed solar conditions is that the star, together with us and the planets, is moving through a differently characterised galactic ambient.

The universe is sound.. and electricity. https://www.noao.edu/education/ighelio/solar_music.html
The sun rings like a bell.. and vibrates like a pipe organ.. might make some sense as to why the Moon rings like a bell as well… Didnt Tesla say something about the Earth ringing like a bell as well?-
“The Music of The Spheres” is no mere phrase ~

Here is some info on “ancient” Korea: http://www.ancient.eu/Korea/

Yes, that is the view of a couple of the commenters on the article. However, the opening statement sounds so much like the ones Russia has been saying for the past couple of years… makes one wonder who they have been speaking to!

So when I read this about the latest Taliban success – https://www.rt.com/news/398752-taliban-afghanistan-seized-sayad/ – I thought:
I wonder what the symbolic (perhaps esoteric) meaning of this whole failure to conquer the Afghan-world-island-heartland thing could be?
The answer that arrived was:
It’s something to do with wanting to claim the…[Read more] -

Who is the tail and who is the dog? Another development in the ongoing Team Saudi (now including Israel) spat with Qatar, this time via closure of the Qatari media organization Al Jazeera, whose offices are being closed in Jerusalem.

Well well well…. what has prompted this change? The Saudi position is now that the affairs of Syria are not the Saudi state’s business…. how bizarre a statement from one of the sponsors of the insurgents/rebels/ISIS.

Look for the third force / party here who is stirring things up.

My bet is that as in the case of N. Korea, this will not go beyond the skirmish level. Though there are probably some “covert” aspects we are missing, such as rivalry connected to space, gold, Himalayan water and mineral resouces etc.
