I’ve long been interested in the social and family networks aspect of key personalities, but this is a niche topic, hard to reduce to a “cliff notes” format. You have to check the sources, which more often than not have their own agenda. Genealogy can also be a treacherous field, with a lot of family trees being incomplete or patently faked.-
And, perhaps, grafted.
