It is my impression that many or perhaps most of these food-related issues are driven by politics and not the inability to produce food, even good food. Of course to disguise this “they” bring up “climate change” and similar issues.
In the end, I’m convinced, with C.A.Fitts, that there will probably be no global financial collapse (whether…[Read more]

An important analysis of cycles. The political forecasts should however be taken with a grain of salt. Our modern world in probably much less vulnerable to famine, despite the “dark side” – GMOs and engineered poverty in potentially rich places like Africa. On the other hand, the centralisation and “chemicalisation” of the food chain is open to…[Read more]

    • We see grain reserves at an all time low, nonexistent in many countries. Recent trade sanctions are forcing farmers here in the US to leave their crops to rot in the fields. I’m not so certain that we are that much less vulnerable to famine, we may, indeed, actually be more susceptible to it, especially in the inner large population areas where…[Read more]

Faraday cage, exactly! An old microwave would do for small devices, for larger ones I think there are a lot of DIY designs out there…

  • In my experience, most Pacifists do not love their enemies; they only hate their friends for fighting against their enemies. Or rather, properly speaking, the enemies they forgive are really their friends; but they do not forgive those who are really their enemies.

  • Solar flares. Though the article failed to mention WHY we are presently more at risk – no NOT “global warming” but because of the grand solar minimum that has led to a contraction of the Earth’s magnetosphere – it does propose something. Certain tech firms, the y say, will be able to provide early warning so that you can “turn off your devices” to…[Read more]

    • Does “turning off your device” work? My understanding that unless you have a faraday cage around your chips (your device), well grounded, it will still be affected and probably won’t work after one of these massive solar events. What IS the truth?

It will be embarassing in some quarters when lots of people can quickly detect heavy metals occurring in precipitation with no “plausible” explanation …

    • What about the counties in Frackingland USA where the water burns? I wonde whhat would turn up in there.. I think back to a Dr F blog, where he was blogging about portable DNA testing kits. Where he said that it may be used to verify specimens on alien planets… I thin kthat this tool would find its place on that spaceman’s utility belt..

Hmmm could be those lithium batteries (the one’s that explode occasionally in Muskmobiles). So there could be a resonance effect involved. Though fires do create local heat-induced upward moving drafts, weather is an electromagnetic phenomenon. In emergencies such as this, you would need to be very level headed to try to take EM and maybe even…[Read more]

So the swimming pools at least have some use. And what about all the apparently non-burned shrubs around the house?

    • Could the spraying be at least in part an attempt, a somewhat failing attempt, to fuel actual wildfires as cover for these mass arson events? Or is the spraying just purposed for localized wind generation maybe, and they don’t care what is evident in the aftermath?

      • I think the spraying intensifies the heat so there is total elimination. By directing the spraying, they can wipe out the architecture in areas that they want to either purchase at rock-bottom costs or justify their “taking” for the high speed rail.
