Mnuchin is no longer there clicking the market manipulation mouse, and there is no reason to believe that the fantastically complex, and thus vulnerable, price rigging in its present form is some sort of cosmic inevitability. Watch what they do, not what they say (vacuuming up bullion, land, patents etc. as long as anybody is selling…). -

Forum survey, “comments closed”. I tend to agree with Robert’s considerations. Factors like rampant trollism support the idea of a members-only area, where we will each use our own discernment and common sense before posting and linking. In the past, when membership was smaller. there was an interesting section divided into specific threads such…[Read more]

I agree about a members-only area. Even as I say that, I feel funny about locking out those who aren’t trolling but perhaps can’t afford a membership at the moment. I realize there may be no practical way around that. Perhaps–if technically feasible–a members-only forum that would allow non-paying members in by invitation only?
-
There’s nothing stopping people engaging in their own conversations using any number of platforms. I support the site holding the line on its membership area, its a commercial venture from which people make their living and they have a right to protect its integrity. I may want a mercedes, but I would need a lot more saving to afford it -…

I agree that it is often frustrating when people come onto the forum and do not scroll down several pages before posting some link to a story that might have already been discussed at length. Despite what some have thought, I disagree that this forum has become “Facebook-like” – (unless you include the “Hi” or “I just watched” with no…

I also agree about members-only access. It’s the move Solari made years ago for comments after having things go downhill. I have been watching the tenor of this forum change, quickly too, and I’ve been concerned. It’s subtle now, for the most part, but shifting ever more in a negative (to me) direction and it feels like the community I’ve so…

It’s a tough one – how to run a forum. As a general rule, I don’t like forums, but their importance can’t be overstated, especially now that the planet has been sentenced to our own home prisons. Forums usually start out great, but as word gets out, they tend to attract trolls and “me-too’s”. Things often get re-posted multiple times, even…
-
Yeah, I guess restricting access couldn’t hurt but wouldn’t be a cure-all either. I, too, generally don’t like forums but am feeling like they’re more important than before, at least for me, and the group of thinkers gathered at this site is probably unlike any other.
By the way, if anyone has suggestions on other forums where there’s…

By members I meant “registered” and not necessarily “paying” members.

Exactly. And indicates yet again the strategic significance of family connections, a factor that the official narrative will ignore, even as such links are used tactically to vilify current adversaries…. -

That seems VERY odd given all the vilification of his brother.

It means the military is control of a “secondary government” outside the parameters of the corporation. The military is obliged to the Constitution. The corporation is not.

As for most such tomes I’ll just start by certain sections rather than going cover to cover. -

I’ve just received a copy of Penrose’s “The Road to Reality. A Complete Guide to the Laws of the Universe” (1099 pages) to try and keep up with Dr. Farrell’s cosmology-related speculations and reasoning – wish me luck!

Luck! Perhaps you will provide us with commentary as you go 🙂

Massive Internet Outage On East Coast Blamed On Mysterious Fiber Cut In Brooklyn
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnkWQkroCDc-
It appears the fiber belonged to Verizon.

Per Dr Farrels’s and Dark Journalist interview, perhaps creating scenario for moving stock exchanges to Texas? Maybe Verizon and ATT engaging or creating a corporate war? How come? Perhaps a push to space based communications by showing vulnerabilities of fiber optics?
-
Good questions.

Maybe the reason for outage? Stopping the revenge of day traders….

Can’t have the general public take down those hedge fund traders…aka bankers.

I wondered the same thing about ATT/Verizon and exchanges moving to TX. But maybe it was to stop the general public from trading.

Looks like the corporations are at war w/each other.
AT&T vs Verizon?

Gotta get more Dem seats in the Senate by hook or (more likely) by crook… Why don’t they just pass a bill enabling one-party rule? They could call it the “Enabling Democracy Act.”

I was under the impression that presidents do not actually have to resign formally but that their term of office is deemed to have expired upon the accession of the elected successor. I don’t claim to have made an in-depth study of the succession issue, but could the last-minute attempt to impeach Trump be a response to some technicalities…[Read more]-
You mean, like they are impeaching a former CEO of a corporation that no longer exists and he was sworn in as President of the Republic on January 11th? Something like that.
Ah. Just conspiracy theory.
-
Clarification?

I’d assumed the attempts to impeach were to make it legally impossible for Trump to run for office again, but I really don’t know.

We really don’t know much at this point. Speculation abounds. We have to wait for it all to play out. I have invested in lots of popcorn.
