I guess the only comment I would make is that “Chemical Engineering” should probably have been Biochemical engineering. The pivot of Continental Europe away from Washington and towards its natural allies in Eurasia has been a European objective, as soon as circumstances allowed, since shortly after the end of the Cold War.
