More power to them! That’s exactly the kind of thing that might get the would-be tyrants to pay attention. -

“Repetitive and boring tasks” like policing neighborhoods and enforcing lockdowns?? -

Today it’s dogs — which is bad enough. And tomorrow? The evil psychos in charge of “democratic” countries all over the world are trying to see just how far they can push before there is outright revolt. The answer seems to be: very far. As pessimistic as I can be, even I have been surprised. -

Corbett does some really good work, IMO. This scarcity/overpopulation idea is, apparently, a leitmotiv that’s as old as the hills. Dr. Farrell has pointed out the 18th-century Venetian monk whose theory of the Earth’s maximum human carrying capacity predated Malthus’s more famous theory. I remember Webster Tarpley saying somewhere that the…[Read more]-
I completely agree, well said Sir! I do wonder if they might grab other more “known” people now going forward.

I would argue it goes back further than that to ancient times. Let’s not forget those Sumerian/Mesopotamian myths of Enlil becoming tired of man’s “noise” and “clamoring”, wanting to wipe them out…or Enki “terrifying humans with his awesome, venomous word; by his putting an end to universal human speech and thus afflicting humankind with…

You make a good point about the PRC and the point of view of a former Chinese peasant. (That’s roughly analogous to some Russians’ view of Stalin who, murderous psychopath that he was — meet the new tsar — managed to industrialize Russia overnight and was seen as leading Russia to victory in WWII.) In the PRC’s case, I think it’s important…[Read more] -

People in the West today, most of whom haven’t (before now) lived under anything like totalitarian regimes, have a lot to learn from those who lived under Soviet rule. I think too many people in the West are far too naïve. -

Preparing the narrative that the so-called commander in chief can’t be trusted with sole control over the firecrackers? “The international community has witnessed the flagrant irresponsibility of the U.S. gov’t and insists that control over its fireworks be subject to the oversight of the United Nations [or other committee]…”? -

Well said. The fact that it’s published in a peer-reviewed journal doesn’t automatically make it true (or false). The fact that it’s on the internet doesn’t automatically make it false (or true). IMO, it’s impossible to completely overcome one’s bias, and I believe everybody — including legitimate researchers — has one. I think the best…[Read more]-

Here’s hoping you get the chance! (No, I don’t know if/when/how travel will return to “normal.”) I regret not visiting Herculaneum back when I was still willing and able to travel. -

I submit there’s a major difference between saying, “You didn’t obey the law; you really should” (the case in this example) and saying, “We’re going to stop obeying you and set up an independent country” (King George’s time). -

Paper trail for a future objective makes sense. Though I don’t believe any amount of lawsuits, shaming, or education is going to result in any incriminating docs being released — assuming they haven’t long since been shredded.-
… my (sad) thought as well FiatLux ,,, I think those documents “disappeared” (i.e. suffered the same fate as the Roswell dailies, MK Ultra records, the few microfiche containing crucial JFK evidence that were destroyed as a”space saving measure”) long, long ago.

It may only be a pressure release “feel good” moment. If so, of some benefit. Just a thought. Thanks for your input.

Pompeii is an amazing place to visit! I remember seeing the remains of a less elaborate fast-food stand when I was there more than a decade ago. -

If Italy keeps this up, I may jump on a boat and smuggle myself into the country! (Only half joking… I’ll have to see how things go in the States and whether I’ll ever be able to travel again.) -

I’m always a little amused when I see individual citizens (outside a lawsuit or major lobbying group) try to invoke the law in the face of intransigent national bureaucracies. What are they hoping to achieve? To get a few pages to slip past the censors? To demonstrate — for the umpteenth time — governmental hypocrisy, lawlessness, and secrecy?-
Perhaps a paper trail for a further objective. Proverb: Perseverance furthers. Additionally : Shame / educate the responder.

Yes, it could be that Mr. Globaloney thinks (erroneously, IMO) that he can somehow escape moral responsibility or karmic debt by revealing his plans in advance. I’ve seen a number of thinly veiled announcements in plain language, often in obscure-ish publications and sometimes in newspaper editorials. My speculation is that Globaloney uses…[Read more] - Load More
