Haha… you’re right its the police detective in me. I never give up! Good point, ships maintain a watch h on their radios 24hrs a day for just an emergency and to m monitor weather, hazards etc. They did in fact have time to transmit their emergency but the news reports did not indicate what exactly was said. So I haven’t a clue as to what was…[Read more]

So I have read all the articles out on the sinking of the S. Korean flagged ore carrier leaving Uruguay on its way to China carrying 260 metric tons of iron ore. All the articles were very sterile and gave no other facts except what we already know. However this article from Al Jazarra gave a clue and one other article stated Ships that were…[Read more]

    • Frank, appreciate the news and your investigating further.

    • You’re not letting go Franck – you’ve seen something and you’re analysing. You may have something.
Seen in some reports, that there was an SOS call sent out.. So they may have had ‘some’ time to prepare..
I’m suspicious about the destination of this South Korean 263 000 (alleged) tonnes of Iron Ore.. No one seems to say where it was going…

    • Something is rotten in the South Atlantic. Whether or not N.K. is involved, it does remind us that suspicious ship sinkings have been going on much longer than unusual airplane downings. And since “only” cargo crews are involved, it does not get the attention of the media…

I think that the media lacks the understanding of modern naval warfare. The boats that are in the n Korean navy are old diesel electric Soviet boats of the late 50s and 60s. These boats were often crude and very unsafe by US Navy standards, however they were a credible threat. The same philosophy was considered about the Soviet main battle tanks…[Read more]

I do not believe “icebergs” as the cause. These container and cargo ships sail along well established shipping routes which are monitored by navies and coast guards from all countries in the world. these trade routes are usually not that far south or north for that matter. So i am doubtful it was an iceberg. It may have been a underwater mine…[Read more]

The story gave no indication of the condition of the survivors. Often in sinking conditions survivors may not know the circumstances of what may have caused the sinking. Interviews with allied survivors of ships being torpedoed didn’t see or know it was a submarine attack. All they knew was the ship was sinking fast and they may have felt an…[Read more]

Yes indeed. That combined with really nothing of actual news and it just gets stranger and stranger!

    • Hey Franck – What is actual news?? I thought we just had propoganda trumpets and fake news..

  • Frank posted an update 9 years ago

Here is an old article on another suspicious disaster which has N Korean overtones. An old but goody. I did some research on this article before I posted it. There are several articles arguing the validity of this claim. So I am skeptical as to whether this could be a fact or simply an internet lore. My guess it is both. There may be a nugget of…[Read more]

    • Yes, first the accusation, the a news embargo on the alleged fact. While the hidden oligarch wars in inhabited areas (or even in the skies – wierd things have been seen just using IR cameras or goggles) there are no iphone selfies under water (or at least not yet) with unidentified craft showing up. But in the end something is leaked out on the web.

Sigh…. I may be crazy and laughed out of dodge but I see this incident as something that may be more ominous in nature. I hope I am incorrect. This story has very little media coverage and I tried to find it on other news outlets other than The Sun and Fox news. So with my knowledge of naval warfare and history, this has all the hallmarks of a…[Read more]

Haha… well Russian torpedo technology is very advanced. They have an underwater rocket propelled torpedo which creates an air bubble which is generated by its vibrating tip of the nose that does allow for a rocket engine to work underwater kind of like the imagined warp bubble in Star Trek.
