THE ABILITY TO REPLY TO POSTS ISSUE IS NOW RESOLVED. Earlier: Giza Support is looking into an issue where users can post but not reply to posts. Since this is now a KNOWN issue, no need to fill out a support ticket for it. We’ll announce when we feel it’s resolved.

Emailed to all full members over the holiday (to the email address in their profiles). If anyone is a full member and didn’t get it, verify the email address in your Giza profile, check that email address’s SPAM filter. All we can say for sure is we sent it 🙂

I think it’s common knowledge amongst ppl who have posted or lurked long enough – I know it is shared out pretty much every session in the chat – which is getting busier and busier, btw.
For me, its a combo of b) and e) – I think the correct means is to post to vardas3@gmail.com with a subject header in ALL CAPS (so it is noticed as a vidchat…[Read more]

Sent mine (first one ever) to a hotmail.com email address, with “VIDCHAT QUESTIONS & COMMENTS” in the subject line. Not sure if that was right, but I know Dr. Farrell received it.
I think it would be nice to have a transcript of member’s vidchat questions, by whatever means, whether before or after the vidchat. Not sure how people feel about…[Read more]

Well, I’ve tried a) contact form, (last week but it appears it was not received for 12/4 vidchat b) direct email to gizadeathstar@gmail.com this week (resend of last week’s) but I have no idea if it was received and e) I really have no clue as to what option works best or simply works. We could use a few Full Members (who regularly attend vidchats) to help out in the following way: After a vidchat is finished, post timestamps with chapter names so people playing/discussing the recording can easily FF to locate the spot they want. For example:

This is correct. There has always been SOME level of content rejected by the core toolset (WordPress+Akismet+a very basic moderated phrase list). So we have a pretty standard response which is usually ‘try different phrasing’, try a URL shortener, etc. We don’t usually know the exact reason a post is rejected. Gen. Yeager was an incredible hero and an “honest to God” (literally) nice man. He used to be at the Oshkosh Fly show every year and I actually got the chance to watch him fly in a P51 Mustang in formation with the other heroes of he skies back in 2002.
