I must have been bitten by an African tze-tze fly… all I can do is sleep, and I ache in places I didn’t know I had.

Sounds like a nasty bug you’ve got. Sleep is probably what your body needs to fight it.

Folks my apologies… I HAD intended after Catherine’s visit to get the new vidchat schedule up, and to have one this weekend, but I fear I am coming down with the seasonal cold or flu, and I am not feeling well. I will do my best to have a schedule out in the next couple of days, but I do not think I am going to hold a vidchat this Friday.

I’ve heard this quotation before, and I’ve often wondered – because Diderot’s turn of phrase is very similar to Bavarian Illuminati founder Adam Weishaupt’s in this respect – if he and some of the other Encyclopediasts were members of those types of lodges? The language, strangling with entrails, is specific to some Masonic oaths, which makes me wonder.
