Checking out at the store, the young cashier suggested to the much older lady that she should bring her own grocery bags, because plastic bags are not good for the environment,.
The woman apologized to the young girl and explained, “We didn’t have this ‘green thing’ back in my earlier days.”
The young clerk responded, “That’s our problem today.…[Read more] -

Folks they are expecting strong storms tomorrow afternoon. I am NOT cancelling the fireside chat, but please be aware that if I’m not in the room by 2:30, it may be because storms have knocked me off line or knocked out power. Also, please be aware that I may have to abruptly leave the chat if the storms turn severe and they blow the sirens. I…[Read more]

Here’s the story of the Polish Catholic church in London being shut down by police during their Good Friday service, which is referenced in the comments below the following post by Scarmoge:
-
Reminds one of Christ throwing
the money changers out of the temple.
Only now, it’s the money changers paid thugs.
Difference is simply semantics.
The State wants a monopoly on power.
Spiritual power is compet1tion to “them”.
And for “them; compet1tion is a sin.
One wonders, if the common man is so blind;
he cannot sense the wrong,…-
They are afraid of the spiritual power.

Sadly the members of the congregation obeyed the Nazi orders.

Most of the Poles in UK are an economic immigrants. After brexit their work situation is in a grey zone. It is rather tough to start a riot and risk loosing a livelihood.
-
Thanks for the insight; I wasn’t aware of their situation.
Agreed – it seems they’re caught between a rock and a hard place.

I’m also reminded of CS Lewis’ observations that evil has to be FOUGHT, because ultimately it is irrational, and one cannot therefore ultimately “discuss” with it. So yes, if we’re cautious to the point of entertaining no risks, are we really human? I’d say no, since we’ve already surrendered that within us which makes us good, and…[Read more] -

Yup!! Hear hear! I saw another story about a Roman Catholic church in Britain being “raided” during its Good Friday veneration of the Cross liturgy… Unbelievable.-
… to paraphrase Bruce or David Banner (you pick) “Canadian Gestapo, Don’t make me (you know to whom ME refers) angry. You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry.” 🙂

Ah it’d be good if everyone Hulked up a bit.

… from these and other such small beginnings may a variety of resistance arise! – “If one is forever cautious, can one remain a human being?”

Some of my compositions are posted in the members’ area… refer to the later, rather than earlier, versions. I also posted a small webinar called A Small Talk about Affektenlehre in the members’ (webinar) area. It’s difficult to do because it costs a lot of money to make recordings. -

Short, concise, to the point.
One of the best I’ve seen; and covers the three main shots, including the Johnson & Johnson.
I watched it; and immediately emailed it
to family and friends.
Despite repeated info being sent;
many still took the shots.
Still, they’ve got to realize who the enemy is.
When it finally dawns on them; they can…

To add to my anecdote I mentioned in last night’s vidchat, I’ve noticed something peculiar. As people might guess, my home is filled with music when I have the time. Mostly the two great Bachs, Buxtehude, Haydn, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Widor, even some Beethoven on occasion. But lately I’ve been noticing little Shiloh “singing” along quietly, with…[Read more]

I believe that’s because there’s a nearby radio telescope?-
It’s always rumors and heresay that makes it’s way down through the ranks, but when I was in, I was told that the quiet zone was primarily for NIOC and the NSA’s Echelon system(s). The radio telescope being a convenient cover. I can’t say if that’s true or not, but I do know those signal intelligence assets are located there as well as s…

Actually, he was born on March 31st, but that was on the old Julian calendar, so today, yes.-
Hello Dr. Farrell,
Forgive my ignorance but I was not aware of the existence of the old Julian calendar and it’s significance. Thank you very much for the information and for that fact. I will do my due diligence to find out more about it.
