I heard from a source that’s usually right, Apple accepted Chinese deal; no taxes in exchange for 51% ownership by Chinese state. I haven’t been able to track to confirm. Has anybody heard this? Is anybody tracking which US companies take the Deal?

Greek fire. There are reports out on metal in cars melting like the California fires. Steel alloys melt at 1350°C (aluminium at just 630°C). These are not temperatures that can be created with wood burning in the open, but only with special furnaces. Follow the news on “melting cars”.
