I have listened to Dr. Cowan’s talk at least 3 times and have purchased several of his recommended books, and listened to Skip Virgin’s NIH talk on Virology. Certainly took me back to my first stab at a Master’s, that time in Biology, and while I had to focus at my age, at least I was able to follow it completely. I missed that by a hair. A friend went to a free party, a “Happening” at the local avant grade HS in A2 and unknowingly managed to be part of the Electric Koolaid Acid community. Pretty wild; his description followed the book to a Tee. I was a “guide” for friends idiotic enough to drop. My life was already weird enough.

Well fear just returned to me when Walking Dead explained Executive order 12148. All states are declared emergency as of today which means President concedes to FEMA Director, Gaynor. In both New Orleans and Houston, people didn’t come out feeling help from FEMA as they confiscated fire arms and took food.

I was an Ohioan my whole life until 2 years ago when I moved just over the line into Michigan. Regretted it almost instantly. I just wanted to be in the same county as my kids and grandkids in case THIS kind of crap rolled out. Here it is! But wow! I can’t even visit them now without being a criminal in Gretchen’s domain.

My husband (died in 2013) and I used to “gather around the radio” on Sunday to listen to Alex rant on Lady Bird Radio and were impressed with his honest assessment of the insanity. Got some Michigan and Minnesota seasonal “winter Texans”. They come here during the north’s winter months and stay until warm weather arrives again. The virus fear has a grip on their fear factor. Some staying longer than usual and their wokeiness is driving me nuts.
