Heard the story of Prof. Bret Weinstein and Evergreen State College? It’s an eye-opener. To quote him (he’s not exactly right-wing politically either): “This isn’t about free speech, and this is only tangentially about college campuses. This is about a breakdown in the basic logic of civilization, and it’s spreading. College campuses may be the f…[Read more]

Great article. To add also that the problem for Germany is that China is its biggest market so it’s caught between a rock and a hard place too. In terms of Brexit, I’d imagine Bozo the Clown is bought and paid for and will do a good song and dance about sounding tough but will ultimately sell us down the river to the EU unless there is a coup.…[Read more]

The law – “Jus” in Latin – has a force which is also etheric, as has been discussed occasionally on the website. It is my H.O. speculation that the current phase, with the issue of patently illegitimate orders, ordinances, decrees etc. both in Europe and in Common Law countries, is actually stimulating the usually slow “body of the law” into…[Read more]

Speaking from only a small amount of legal/paralegal studies, and addressing the U.S. situation, I think it comes down to three things:
– Who the judge is (a person of character or not; a political activist or not)
– Whether the country has relinquished judicial sovereignty over the matter (e.g., did it sign something like the Trans-Pacific…[Read more]

I don’t trust microsoft, blue screens every hour solved with putting up a vpn? Certainly when writing my questions to certain parties always blue screens, no save work gone! I think microsoft and others are in overdrive with something else, none of it good!

Evidently the new normal includes withholding education of slaves. It was once the norm in the 1800’s.

Critical social justice theory at work. The “logic”: disparate outcomes can only be explained by racism; so, to combat racism, adjust the outcomes. I see homeschooling as a growth industry…

Glad it was only yearly eye exam cancelled. The parallel I see is a government requiring a face mask to operate your business is not any different than paying off the mob to leave you alone, otherwise they’ll sick the social justice warriors on you. What or how much will they demand the next time? I am still amazed how easily the public bought i…[Read more]

My suggestion to visit an audiophile retailer for the sonic pleasures they can offer and do so for free, is one that I have practised over the decades. Even as I love celestial observatories, I know I cannot pay for one of my own. Hence long clear nights under the ocean of stars serve me well. Naked eye astronomy. Life’s what you make it.

If I had the funds for most of your excellent suggestions, I’d spend them on a night at a real, live opera somewhere. Well, I would have before the “New Normal” at any rate.
