It may sound strange, but because of the book I’m researching, a tangential area of thought emerged, and that is aesthetical philosophy, and I’ve been doing a lot of private musing and writing about it. I’ve been thinking a lot about why we’re in this cultural and moral swamp. No conclusions yet but a whole plethora of tentative hypotheses.

This is a most penetrating analysis and framing of the various games at play in geopolitics, particularly with respect to the US. I don’t agree with all the analysis and the article is long and sometimes a bit “loose” from a structure perspective…. Nevertheless, I found it very interesting framing.

You topped me for sure @kahlypso. I grabbed mine from AUP though, I might have to grab a copy from AMZ to boost the numbers. It’s really a shame AUP doesn’t offer buyer reviews or any added features. I only buy Joseph’s books direct from them. I even refused to buy 3 books for a discount because they still haven’t sent Joseph his birthday present.
