Interestingly, there is a remake of this classic movie (of the Agatha Christie novel) coming out this year. Hollywood telling us something?

I just finished reading Hess and the Penguins. Definitely a mess of questions and contradictory details. Some of the implications turned my stomach and others are just starting to sink into my brain. Dark. Very dark.
-
Yes it is a dark book… and yes, the mind does reel…
-
And your reaction tells me that – finally – someone “gets it”… and that, at least, is gratifying…
-
I want to read more about certain points you raised but I’m scared of what I might find. The actual timing of the infamous flight intrigues me. Why then? Why did Roosevelt cancel his speech? So many questions within the Hess Mess.

People can no longer write by hand it seems.

My handwriting was deteriorated long before the computer age

My handwriting is pretty poor too. I used to struggle to read my father’s writing when I was a child and complained about it…. all these years later, when I compare our writing I see mine is much more illegible! My excuse could be that I am left handed…. the truth is I abandoned the writing style we were taught (cursive) a long time ago as…[Read more]

There goes our Western Civilization.

The idea that handwriting is redundant and possibly recalcitrant and thus immoral seems to be the underlying aim of the corporations that sell digital machines. Handwriting employs a proper form, a proper matter and a proper intent for cohering a sacrament which anatomizes Ratio.

Margaret .. now this is interesting .. I have based a lot of my art on this manuscript .. Don’t ask me why .. I just found the drawings simply fascinating .. and often wonder what on earth they were trying to relay ..
Great find and thanks for sharing .. 🙂-
I like the drawings because they are imaginative and unpretentiously charming. Can you share some of your art?
-
I would love to Margaret but I’m not to sure how to .. Do you mean .. upload some here or email some out .. ?? .. Any clues ??
-
You can sign up on imgur.com and post your images there and then share links. Simple to do.

absolutely mental….Krebs
-
This is really cool because it aggravates and soothes at the same time…what I like about Krebs is that there is an implied magisterium, a folly and a threat which grounds me in un-time. (or ungrounds me in time). His work is crazy-sublime.

Baz .. I got the aggravate and but totally missed the soothing bit .. If I HAD to listen to this .. I would go “absolutely mental” .. LOL .. Sorry !!

I’m afraid in my lithium-fluoridated water blog, that I made a big blunder, reading “oxycontin” when the article said “oxytocin”. My bad! My dyslexic brain was in overdrive or something!
