I read up on the documentary, that looks interesting, I’m going to find some time for that one. With all this… I’m looking more for the “physics” of the meditative process. I feel like it’s becoming harder to think/meditate (I wonder if this is due to the societal incoherence festering within the Medium of Intellect and/or the “meme-warfare”…[Read more]

I’ve done “amateur” meditation regarding personal memories, ideas, emotions, etc., but I can’t help but sense that many (in the West) have polluted (for lack of a better word)…[Read more]

“The Science of Self Realization: His Devine Grace” by A.C Bhaktivedenta Swami Prabhupada. “Discourse on Method and Meditations on First Philosophy”. Your supposed to suppose to read the meditation before you meditate. Decorate was curious to see if doing that would have the same effect on others as it did on him.

It depends what school of meditation you are interested in. I recommend St Teresa of Avila” Interior Castle ” and St John of the Cross “Dark Night of the Soul”

Not that it directly applies to this topic, but sort of intersects, I just finished watching the documentary “Third Eye Spies.” I can’t recommend it enough. WOW! Hopefully I don’t muddy the conversation with this comment.

Count me in! I was always curious and interested in so many non-mundane things that I found socializing difficult because I wasn’t adept at conventional gossip and ‘small talk’. Ask him if he would be willing to accept being condemned to capital punishment or life imprisonment by a jury formed by his “peers”….
of course he will.. he’s been conditionned to think that he’s entitled to be judged by peers.. but he’ll have no idea of what consequence is.
In this day and age (and madness) .. I wouldn’t be surprised if voting was made compulsory for anyone 2 – 25 years of age and illegal for anyone over 30 ..
