As a EU-westener myself I find it difficult to get any sense what the Chinees culturally are, let alone their view on other countries and peoples. I honestly wouldn’t know if they have expansionists tendencies or how they look on foreigners.

About health issues there is more scientism than hard core science. Hypotheses backed by a lot of people does not make it reality. You will have to research yourself and form your own opinion.
