… these should offer a little fodder for future comments and discussion on of all things … Social Contract Theory and one of Dr. Farrell’s favorite subjects — dialectics. In this case of the Hegelian type … Enjoy!-
That was a fantastic article and tribute to Sir Roger. I always wondered why Scruton didn’t include Derrida in Fools, Frauds, and Firebrands, and now I know.
-
Also, it’s quite sad how Hegel has been wrapped up in so many nefarious or, as they say, Luciferian plots against humanity. Every time I hear anyone reference the deep state, conspiracy, and Hegel, I always seize up inside. Those damn New Hegelians really soured the fruit. I’ve heard Scruton remark that whatever good that stemmed from the…

Also, also, Social Contract Theory! Now there’s a topic of critical discussion. I’ve always summed this concept in its best light to the Consent of the Governed. … Hey, here’s an idea. Stop the vaccine administration and restart by “vaccinating” ALL elected officials and their immediate families from oldest to newest born beginning with Federal Officials all the way down to your local dogcatcher. Then lets wait 60-90 days, look at the data and see if we’d like to continue. Just an idea.

… Scientism (what unfortunately passes for Science nowadays) is an ideology. Science as inquiry stands alone. The results of inquiry can and are, in most cases used, but what use is made of that inquiry depends on you and me.-
And in this case, the ONLY reason for using a vaccine, especially an experimental one, is, by definition, if there is no reasonable existing antidote. FiatLux started out with asking about that preventative and Herr Doktor apparently is ignorant of that fact. Back to Dr. Farrell’s answer – don’t trust any guy with an MD behind his name if…

As they say: it’s as easy to corrupt a scientist as it is a politician.
-
I totally agree. In this case, however, I know the doctor well, and I’m convinced he didn’t say what he said for financial reasons. He sincerely believed what he was saying. He’s letting his medical judgment be skewed by politics, which is even more frightening to me than a scientist being bribed to tell a lie.

Yes… It appears that from a purely astronomical or space-based perspective, between this kind of thing and Arecibo, there’s something somebody doesn’t want us to see. Though I haven’t a clue what it is. (UFOs? Abnormal Sun activity? Military stuff? Satellites? Spraying? Blocking of the Sun? Or … ?)
